I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too: Real World (TV Special)
Anime Info
Synopsis
After finally making peace with Yuty, the girl whose powers stand in direct opposition to his own, Yuuya Tenjou settles into an unexpected new normal: the two of them now living together back in the real world. It's a much quieter, more domestic kind of chaos than what he's used to.
The other world, however, isn't done with him yet. A mysterious figure has fallen into corrupted "evil" power, and with the "Fist Saint" Gilbert Pfister and the legendary Creation Dragon Oma entering the picture, old myths and new threats start colliding. As demons and fallen deities stir up trouble on the other side of the door, Yuuya realizes his hard-earned break isn't going to last very long.

Our Review
As a bridge special between the original series and the confirmed Season 2, this does exactly what it needs to. It's genuinely nice to check back in on Yuuya and Kaori's domestic dynamic now that they're living together, and giving that relationship room to breathe outside of constant action is a smart choice for a 47-minute runtime.
The new cast additions — the "Fist Saint" Gilbert and the ancient Creation Dragon Oma — add some fresh stakes for the other-world side of the plot, and the returning production team (Millepensee, director Shin Itagaki) keeps the visual quality consistent with the original run.
It's not trying to be a standalone masterpiece, and it doesn't need to be — this is a well-made setup piece for what's coming next, and existing fans of the series should get real enjoyment out of it. — DIDARUL ISLAM [Chief Editor]
