Depending on how you use AniSphere, we may collect the following:

We do not collect passwords — sign-in is handled entirely by Google and Firebase, described below.

AniSphere uses Firebase Authentication (a Google service) to let you sign up and log in with your Google account. When you sign in:

• Google shares basic profile information with us — your name, email address, and profile picture — based on the permissions you approve.
• Firebase securely manages your authentication session; we never see or store your Google password.
• Your account is linked to a unique Firebase user ID, used internally to associate your RANK votes and submitted content with your profile.

This data is handled under Google's own privacy practices in addition to ours. You can review Google's Privacy Policy for more detail on how they handle sign-in data.

• To create and manage your AniSphere account.
• To let you cast, update, and track your RANK votes.
• To credit you properly when you contribute content through our Expert Contributor Program.
• To respond to enquiries sent through our Contact page.
• To maintain site security and prevent abuse, including RANK manipulation and spam.
• To understand overall site usage and improve AniSphere over time.

AniSphere runs on Blogger/Blogspot, which may use cookies for basic site functionality, and we may use analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site — such as which pages are popular and how people navigate the database. This helps us improve AniSphere over time. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work as intended if you do.

AniSphere may display ads through third-party ad networks to help fund the site — including compensating our Expert Contributor Authors. These networks may use cookies or similar technology to serve relevant ads based on your browsing activity. We don't control how third-party ad networks use this data; please refer to their own privacy policies for details.

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with the service providers necessary to run AniSphere — such as Google/Firebase for authentication and hosting, and our advertising partners as described above — or when required by law.

We rely on Google and Firebase's security infrastructure to protect your account and sign-in data. While no online platform can guarantee absolute security, we take reasonable steps to protect the information we do hold and to limit access to it.

• You can review or update the profile information Google shares with us at any time through your Google account settings.
• You may request deletion of your AniSphere account and associated data by contacting us.
• You can revoke AniSphere's access to your Google account at any time through your Google account permissions page.

AniSphere is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as AniSphere grows and new features are added. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
