Synopsis
In a world shared by nine races, humans sit at the very bottom of the hierarchy. Three years later, Light has built his own kingdom deep in the Abyss, surrounded by an ever-growing roster of devoted Level 9999 warriors summoned through his gacha. Now a true Overlord in his own right, he's ready to climb back to the surface and settle the score with the party members and the world that betrayed him.

If you're in the mood for a straightforward, no-frills power-fantasy revenge story, this one delivers exactly what the title promises. Light's fall from grace and rise into an overpowered dungeon overlord is paced well, and the betrayal setup gives his eventual payback real satisfaction.
The gacha-summoned companions — Mei, Aoyuki, Iceheat, Nazuna, and the rest — each bring their own flavor of personality and combat style, keeping the "harem of Level 9999 warriors" gimmick from feeling one-note. J.C.Staff handles the action scenes competently, especially once Light starts confronting his former party members.
