Synopsis
Takumi Iruma is an ordinary salaryman accidentally caught up in a hero-summoning ritual meant to gather warriors for the fantasy world of Mildgard. Since he was never supposed to be part of it and can't be sent back to Earth, the goddess Nolyn compensates him by resurrecting him as a teenager and granting him a skill of his choosing.
Hoping to avoid conflict, Takumi picks the humble-sounding "alchemy" — only to discover it lets him create anything from holy swords to flying ships out of nothing. Now he just wants a quiet life in the city of Bolt, but his overpowered new ability keeps pulling him into other people's problems.

This one plays it safe. Takumi's "overpowered but wants a quiet life" premise is a well-worn isekai formula at this point, and Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time doesn't do much to twist it — it leans on charm and easygoing pacing instead of surprises.
That said, it's a pleasant watch if you enjoy low-stakes isekai slice-of-life with a solid cast behind it. Audience scores have landed in the mid-6 to low-7 range, putting it comfortably in "decent, unremarkable" territory rather than must-watch status.
