Skeleton Knight in Another World
Anime Info
Synopsis
When Arc wakes up, he discovers that he's been transported to the fantasy world he once played as an MMO, in the body of the skeletal character he was using at the time. Now stuck with a fearsome skull-and-bones appearance, he must find a way to live in this new world while keeping his true, gentle nature hidden.
To avoid frightening others, Arc conceals his skeletal form beneath armor and a helm, adopting the persona of a traveling knight. Along the way, he rescues a dark elf named Ariane from slavers, and the two set out together, uncovering the dangers and wonders of this strange new world.
Despite his intimidating appearance, Arc's kindness and immense hidden power slowly earn him allies as he learns to navigate a land far different from the game he once knew.

Our Review
This series takes a familiar isekai premise and gives it a distinct visual hook: a protagonist whose in-game skeletal avatar becomes his real body in the new world. The contrast between Arc's terrifying appearance and his genuinely gentle, protective nature is the show's biggest strength, and it plays that dynamic for both comedy and heartfelt moments.
Studio KAI and HORNETS deliver competent action sequences, and Ariane's arc as a dark elf rescued from slavery adds real stakes beyond typical wish-fulfillment isekai tropes. The chemistry between Arc and Ariane carries much of the series' emotional weight.
Recommended for isekai fans who enjoy a lighthearted, action-adventure tone with a likable, morally grounded lead — even if the overall story doesn't break drastically new ground for the genre. — AniSphere Review Team
