Synopsis
Rimuru Tempest has come a long way from the ordinary office worker who woke up as a slime in another world. After defeating the Demon Lord Clayman and awakening as a True Demon Lord himself, Rimuru now rules over the nation of Tempest, a place where humans, monsters, and every race in between are welcome to live side by side.
With his standing as a Demon Lord official, Rimuru decides to throw open the doors of his young country, hosting a grand festival to introduce Tempest to the wider world and welcome new citizens with open arms. But peace never lasts long for Rimuru. As Tempest's influence grows, it starts drawing the attention, and suspicion, of the Western Holy Church, setting the stage for a clash with the fearsome Hinata Sakaguchi and her Crusaders.
Between diplomacy, festivals, and looming conflict with the Church, Rimuru and his ever-growing circle of friends, generals, and Demon Lord allies must navigate a world that's watching Tempest's rise a little too closely.

Season 3 marks a clear turning point for Tensura, shifting from Rimuru's early nation-building days into full-blown Demon Lord politics. Watching Tempest go from a small monster settlement to a bustling, festival-hosting nation feels genuinely earned after two seasons of buildup, and the worldbuilding here is some of the strongest in the franchise.
8bit's animation stays consistent and colorful, handling both the lighthearted festival episodes and the tenser confrontations with the Holy Church equally well. The two-cour structure gives the story room to breathe, letting side characters like Diablo, Milim, and Hinata get real spotlight moments instead of being rushed through.
