Season 2 keeps everything that made the first season so much fun while raising the stakes in a really satisfying way. Leon's shameless, self-serving logic still drives every scheme, but watching him get dragged into real political trouble makes the story feel a lot more gripping this time around.
ENGI's animation holds up nicely with cleaner character work and a few genuinely impressive action beats, and the returning cast slips right back into their roles without missing a beat.
