Synopsis
Makoto Misumi is an ordinary teenager summoned to another world by the goddess Tsukuyomi to serve as its hero. But when she takes one look at his plain appearance and calls him "ugly," she strips away his hero status and banishes him to the harsh wastelands at the edge of the world.
Left to fend for himself, Makoto meets dragons, spiders, orcs, and other non-human races who judge him by his character rather than his looks. As he slowly earns their trust, he starts building a life — and a found family — far from the human society that rejected him.

Tsukimichi doesn't try to reinvent the isekai wheel, but it stands out by leaning into found-family warmth instead of nonstop power fantasy — Makoto's slow-earned bonds with dragons, spiders, and orcs give the show a genuinely wholesome core that a lot of "summoned hero" stories skip past.
It's held up as one of the quieter, better-liked isekai of its season rather than a flashy blockbuster, and it — good, consistent, easy to enjoy, without being a genre-defining classic.
