Synopsis
A short scene set shortly before the events of the main story: Hajime Nagumo is dozing off at his desk one ordinary high school morning when his classmate Daisuke Hiyama wakes him up to harass him. Kaori Shirasaki steps in to greet Hajime, prompting Daisuke to back off, and soon her friends Shizuku Yaegashi, Kouki Amanogawa, and Ryutarou Sakagami join the conversation.
It's a small, everyday slice of life that fills in some of the context for Hajime's ordinary world — right before everything changes for him and his classmates.

Prologue is exactly what it says on the tin — a short, low-stakes classroom scene that fills in a bit of context the main show never fully explained about Hajime's life before he was pulled into the Orcus Labyrinth. It's not meant to be watched as a standalone story.
At just 7 minutes, there's not much room for the production to shine, and it sits at a modest 6.7 on MAL, which fits its role as a footnote rather than a real episode.
