Synopsis
Having defeated the apostle Noint and repelled the demon race's invasion of the royal capital, Hajime and his companions press on toward their goal. Before tackling the two remaining Great Labyrinths, they escort Princess Liliana to the Helscher Empire to seek reinforcements for the devastated Heiligh Kingdom.
Along the way, the group's bonds keep deepening as new dangers and old enemies resurface, pushing Hajime closer to unlocking the last of the ancient magic he needs to find a way back home.

Season 3 pushes Hajime and his companions toward the final stretch of the story, escorting Liliana to the Helscher Empire while chasing down the last of the ancient magic he needs. It's a bigger, more plot-heavy season than the last, with more world-building around the empire and the remaining labyrinths.
Reception has stayed roughly where it's always been for this franchise — a modest 7.0 on MAL, appreciated by existing fans but never quite winning over people who bounced off the earlier seasons' harem-heavy tone.
