Synopsis
These two short OVA episodes give Hajime Nagumo and his party a break from the usual dungeon-crawling danger. While stopping to rest and heal up at a hot spring, the girls head off to bathe, only to notice that Yue has quietly slipped away on her own.
Curious about where she went, Shea and Kaori go looking for her, and Tio ends up stumbling on something unexpected tucked away in Yue's things: her personal diary. Even though they know reading it isn't exactly fair to her, curiosity gets the better of the group, and they can't resist peeking into Yue's private thoughts and the story of how she came to travel with Hajime.
It's a lighthearted, slice-of-life detour from the main story, mixing a bit of comedy with a more emotional look at Yue's past, all before she catches them red-handed and makes sure they regret it.

These two Blu-ray specials are a nice little bonus for fans of the first season, but they're not essential viewing on their own. With each episode running only about 8 minutes, there isn't much room for actual plot, so don't expect any major story progression here.
What you do get is a fun, fanservice-leaning detour that lets the girls, especially Yue, get a bit more spotlight than the main story usually gives them. It leans into hot spring comedy tropes pretty hard, but the glimpse into Yue's diary adds a small, sweet emotional touch that longtime fans of her character will probably appreciate.
