Synopsis

After years of waiting, Thousand-Year Blood War delivers exactly the send-off Bleach fans hoped for. Studio Pierrot's animation is a massive leap over the original TV run, giving iconic fights and long-awaited character reveals the visual weight they always deserved.
Yhwach and the Wandenreich make for a genuinely intimidating final threat, and the way the story peels back decades of hidden history about the Soul Society, the Quincy, and Ichigo's own bloodline gives even longtime readers plenty of fresh payoff. Tatsuya Kitani's opening theme sets the tone perfectly for a saga that treats every returning character like they matter.
