Isekai Cheat Magician: Starry Night Festival
Anime Info
Synopsis
Taichi Nishimura and his friends return to the town of Azpire just in time for its annual Starry Night Festival — a once-a-year celebration when the souls of the dead are said to return to the earthly plane for a single night.
Taichi and Rin help the adventurers' guild prepare for the festivities, running a stall of their own amid the festival stalls and lantern-lit streets. But as the celebration gets underway, a sudden problem threatens to cut the night short, pulling the group into one more small adventure before the festival's end.
A lighter, slice-of-life bonus episode that first aired alongside a rebroadcast of the original TV series, giving the cast a quieter, more festive send-off outside the main story's central conflicts.

Our Review
Starry Night Festival is a low-stakes, pleasant bonus episode rather than an essential piece of the story. Freed from the main plot's political intrigue, it lets Taichi, Rin, and the rest of the cast enjoy a quieter, more festive side of Azpire, which is a nice change of pace for fans who wanted more downtime with these characters.
Encourage Films doesn't push the production much further than the TV series it accompanies, and the episode's brief runtime means the "problem" that interrupts the festival resolves quickly without much tension.
Worth a watch for completionists and fans who enjoyed the original series, but it's a light epilogue-style extra rather than a must-see chapter. — DIDARUL ISLAM [Chief Editor]
