Synopsis
Six months after the release of "POP IN 2," B-Komachi is on the verge of a true breakthrough thanks to MEM-cho's relentless hustling. Aqua has become a genuine multi-talent, and Akane is steadily building a career as a serious actress — but Kana has quietly lost the brightness she used to carry so easily.
Meanwhile, Ruby keeps climbing further up the industry ladder, chasing the truth behind her mother Ai's and "father" Gorou's deaths, ready to use lies as a weapon if that's what it takes. New faces — the enigmatic Hikaru Kamiki, the childlike Tsukuyomi, rookie assistant director Shun Yoshizumi, and the old-fashioned Tetsu Urushibara — get pulled into the widening web of secrets, as showbiz's glittering surface keeps hiding darker truths underneath.

After Season 2 drew some criticism for a slower pace and a slightly weaker finale, Season 3 comes back swinging — and by most accounts, this is the strongest entry in the anime so far. The Mainstay and Scandal arcs push Kana, Ruby, and Akane into genuinely uncomfortable, morally messy territory, and the show is confident enough to let their choices sit without spelling out clean moral judgments for the viewer.
Doga Kobo's animation is sharper than ever, especially in the variety-show and stage sequences, and CHANMINA's opening "TEST ME" hits just as hard as the visuals it's paired with. New characters like Hikaru Kamiki and Tsukuyomi add real unease to the season's darker turns without feeling tacked on.
