Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dear Friend

Ever since Mai Sakurajima's shocking public confession on April 1st, one impossible occurrence after another has begun unfolding around Sakuta Azusagawa. The mysterious, wildly popular internet singer known as Touko Kirishima turns out to be Mai herself, a scene identical to a dream Sakuta once had on Christmas Eve.

As the hashtag "#DREAMING," where posts about dreams start becoming reality, mysteriously vanishes, Sakuta begins experiencing a growing distortion between his own perception and reality itself. A message soon arrives from another version of himself, from a possible world Sakuta never knew existed.

Now Sakuta must search for the truth behind Touko Kirishima to set the world right again, in what becomes his final confrontation with Adolescence Syndrome, and a choice that will decide everything for him, for Mai, for Shoko, for Miori, and for Touko.
