Synopsis

But not everyone welcomes Tempest's rise. In the shadows, Granville Rozzo — a former Hero and head of the Five Elders of the Kingdom of Siltrosso — and his granddaughter Mariabell view Demon Lord Rimuru's growing influence as a grave threat, and move to protect mankind by ruling over it instead. Meanwhile, in El Dorado, Demon Lord Leon pursues goals of his own, and the awakening of a new Hero draws near.
Part 2 continues the season's political intrigue as the Western Nations Council maneuvers behind the scenes, while Rimuru navigates fragile alliances, ancient ruins, and rising threats to keep his nation's growth on course.

Season 4's second cour leans further into what has always made TenSura stand out from the isekai crowd — it's less interested in flashy power escalation and more invested in nation-building, diplomacy, and the slow-burn political tension between Tempest and its rivals. Watching Rimuru's Human-Monster Coexistence Sphere take shape against the machinations of Granville and Mariabell Rozzo gives this arc real stakes beyond the next big battle.
8bit's production remains steady and polished, even as the season has weathered a couple of scheduling hiccups along the way. The now-massive ensemble cast is handled well, with returning heavyweights like Benimaru, Shion, and Milim getting meaningful moments rather than just cameo appearances.
