Kyle Lenard (カイル) – New Saga

Kail (カイル, Kyle) is the central protagonist of the story. A skilled magical swordsman, he led the Suicidal Assault Team on a mission to the Demon King's castle, successfully striking the fatal blow and emerging as the sole survivor. After obtaining the Divine Dragon's Heart, he is sent back in time and resolves to alter a future where humanity nearly falls to the Demon King's forces.

Background

Kail was the last survivor of the assault team that made the suicidal attack against the Demon King in his original timeline. After being in contact with a mysterious artifact, he is brought back to his youth self, which gives him the chance to alter the course of history.

Master Swordsmanship

Kail was considered by his master to be a once-in-a-century talent even before the events of the future took place. He has acquired many sword tricks such as the ability to mentally construct and drill against a duplicate of an adversary, an ability exclusive to his time in the future.

Enhanced Magical Power

By merging his soul with his past self after traveling through time, Kail's magical power has grown beyond what it would have been naturally. The Magic King observes that he can now potentially wield extremely powerful spells in combat.

Magic

As a Magic Swordsman, Kail seamlessly integrates magic into his fighting style. He employs spells such as Haste to increase his speed and has recently acquired a destruction-type spell resembling those typically used by demons, evident during his battle with Seran.

Immense Stamina

Resuming an intense training regimen, Kail uses multiple Gravity Rings that place a heavy burden on his body. Designed to weaken prisoners, these rings instead help Kail strengthen his endurance, yet he continues to move with ease.

High Intelligence

Kail takes pride in his remarkable memory, recalling numerous events from the future timeline. He deduced that the King orchestrated the Princess's assassination attempt and realized that the Blacksmith survived, drawing on knowledge no one else possesses. This foresight enables him to strategize effectively for both personal and broader benefit.
