TV Asahi has dropped a brand-new key visual for the upcoming Magic Repo Man: Dumped by My Party, I'll Cash In With a Cute Support Fairy to Become the Strongest! TV anime, along with confirmation that the series will begin airing on October 4, 2026.

Alongside the visual, the show also welcomed a new cast member: Risae Matsuda has joined as Linka. The anime will premiere on the NUMAnimation programming block on TV Asahi and 23 affiliated channels, airing effectively in the very early hours of Sunday mornings, before later making its way to BS Asahi as well.

What Is Magic Repo Man About?

Magic Repo Man is based on the manga written by Masakichi and illustrated by Shingo Iijima, which itself grew out of Masakichi's original web novel. The manga is serialized on Flex Comix's COMIC Meteor and is set to release its sixth volume in Japan on September 15. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the series in English.

The story is set in a world where a person's fate is decided by their "Gift." Lent, a kind-hearted boy from a small village, is born with an unusual power called the "Magic Warehouse," which lets him lend his own magic to others. After being betrayed and cast aside by the very companions he helped grow stronger, Lent's Gift evolves into something far more dangerous: "Forced Collection," an ability that lets him rip back every ounce of magic he had ever lent out. Now abandoned by his former party, Lent sets out on a path of payback against those who wronged him.
