Tokyo Revengers Season 4 — Trailer and Key Visual Revealed
Tokyo Revengers is gearing up for its next chapter. A brand-new trailer and key visual for War of the Three Titans Arc, the show's fourth season, have just been released, and they give fans their clearest look yet at what's coming this October.
The upcoming season will pick up right after the events of the Tenjiku Arc, continuing Takemichi Hanagaki's time-leaping struggle to save the people he cares about. The new footage teases a darker, higher-stakes chapter of the story, with familiar faces returning alongside new threats. The series is set to premiere on October 2, and it will once again stream exclusively on Disney+.
Ahead of this release, the production had already introduced viewers to the founding members of the Black Dragon gang, along with a key figure named South Terano. With the cast largely in place, this latest reveal shifts the spotlight to the trailer itself and a striking new piece of key art.
A new director takes the wheel
One of the more notable changes behind the scenes is a shift in direction. Koichi Hatsumi, who helmed the first three seasons of Tokyo Revengers, is stepping back, with Maki Kodaira now leading the project. The change comes at a pivotal point in the story, as the anime moves into one of its more intense arcs from the original manga.
The project was first announced back in July 2024, introduced with a teaser visual centered on Takemichi and Manjiro Sano, better known as Mikey. A follow-up teaser was later shown during AnimeJapan in March, keeping fans engaged while the full details came together.
Music lineup confirmed
The season's soundtrack has also been detailed. JO1 returns to provide the opening theme, titled "IGNITE," while go!go!vanillas will handle the ending theme, "TRICK STAR." Both tracks feature in the newly released trailer, giving fans a preview of the tone and energy this arc is aiming for.

About Tokyo Revengers
The Tokyo Revengers anime first premiered in April 2021, running through September of that year. A second season followed in January 2023, bringing back most of the original cast, with Masaya Fukunishi stepping into the role of Draken. The third season, covering the Tenjiku Arc, aired in October 2023 and remains available on Disney+ in most regions.
The series is based on the manga written by Ken Wakui, which ran in Weekly Shonen Magazine from March 2017 until its conclusion in November 2022. The story follows Takemichi Hanagaki, an ordinary and somewhat directionless young man who discovers he can leap back in time to his middle school years. Determined to prevent the death of his former girlfriend and change the fate of everyone around him, he sets out to rise through the ranks of one of Kanto's most dangerous delinquent gangs.
